Neal Paint and Wallpaper is a family owned and operated business, conveniently located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. We opened our doors and have remained at our original location, at 523 Washington Street, since 1935, providing Columbus and the surrounding area with the finest paint, wallpaper, and window treatments on the market.
Originally established by the Budd family, the store was purchased in 1981 by the Fritz family. Russell Fritz had worked as the assistant manager under the previous owner, George Budd, for many years prior to ultimately purchasing the business. Russell and his wife, Donna, grew the business together through the years and eventually sold it to their sons, Eric and Wayne. Today, Neal Paint and Wallpaper is currently owned and operated by Wayne Fritz.

After undergoing a major renovation in 2016, Neal Paint and Wallpaper boasts a state-of-the-art-showroom that blends the best of modern technology with the beauty of the original building. Neal Paint and Wallpaper is the exclusive authorized retailer of Benjamin Moore and Hunter Douglas products to the area and is proud to continue to serve the Columbus community for their improvement needs.
